I'm home. Back where white blankets the tops of the mountains and the plethora of sheep make disturbing hacking sounds periodically throughout the day and night. Back to a place that I loved once and will love again. Back to Kyrgyzstan.

The Global Disease

Seldom and sparse are those times in which one peers under the opaque curtain of life and sees, with his own eyes, that which was meant to remain obscured from the view of all sentient beings. I myself have gazed into the eyes of such terror. It happened on a dark and dreary night. The smiling children had left the well-trodden streets for the security of their houses and homes. Fog crept from unknown recesses like the slender fingers of an aged hand and a whisper of dew fell from the unseen heavans. It was on this night that I gazed into the ligtless eyes of some unknown but yet wellknown skull. I discovered, to my dismay, that other hapless souls have been bound to the same chains that now shackle many a whithered ankle of those poor souls of my motherland. Yes, even the few that in this strange land have been bound to prision do not yet know that they are condemned. They dream of conquering bright heights and vanquishing unforetold numbers of enemies as they look at the world through the thin glaze obscuring their eyes from a transparent view of all around us. They sit infront of their computer screens and unblinkingly, eagerly and cognizently take part in that terrible world. The world that we call The World of Warcraft.
